SocialErasmus (SE) is an international project of the Erasmus Student Network. Its aim is to motivate international students to participate in social and volunteering activities in their host countries.
Exchange students are getting involved in social projects
In the week of November 10 to November 16, 2014 the association faranto e.V. was organising the
“SocialErasmus Week” at HTW Dresden where several fund-raising and charity campaigns took place.
Secondly, SocialErasmus was collecting clothes which were donated to the store “Zweite Chance” of the Heilsarmee. Even the principal of the university Prof. Dr.-Ing. habil. Stenzel was participating with a generous donation.
And last but not least, there was a blood donation campaign for the German Red Cross (DRK Kreisverband Dresden e.V.).
The SocialErasmus team was supported by many exchange students. The week was a great success for all participants and everyone is motivated to engage in further social activities and projects.
